About the Founder
Meet Avery
Avery Mainstone (They/Them) is the founder of Avefinity, a part-time managed service provider based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Avery is an Autistic, ADHD, and Non-Binary IT professional with a strong belief in fairness, transparency, and inclusive support.
They created Avefinity to make IT services accessible to everyone – from sole traders and micro-businesses to students, charities, and households. Too often, IT support is confusing, overpriced, or impersonal. Avefinity was built to change that: putting people first, keeping costs clear, and delivering reliable help that makes technology less stressful.
Experience and Background
Avery brings over six years of experience as a Network Administrator for a charity supporting neurodivergent young people, alongside time working with a managed service provider (MSP) and in both retail and hospitality. This mix of technical and customer-facing roles means Avery combines technical skill with strong customer service values.
Areas of expertise include:
-
Microsoft 365 management and support
-
Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
-
Windows systems administration
-
Cloud integrations and migrations
-
Cybersecurity awareness and best practices
Avefinity is a registered Microsoft Partner, providing access to the latest Microsoft tools and resources for clients.
Values That Guide Avefinity
Avefinity operates on principles that matter just as much as technical skill:
-
Fair and accessible IT support – technology help that works for everyone, with patience and respect.
-
Clear and transparent pricing – no hidden fees, no jargon, just honest and simple hourly plans.
-
Respectful and inclusive service – shaped around the needs of Neurodivergent, Disabled, LGBTQIA+, and general customers alike.
-
Independent and approachable – a local provider, not a corporate chain, meaning continuity and personal service.
-
Compliance and trust – registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZB939971, fully compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
-
Zero tolerance for abuse – every interaction is safe, respectful, and professional.
Avefinity is also a Sunflower Member, supporting people with Hidden Disabilities through inclusive practice.
